C.V. Joints Industry knowledge

Yuhuan Bayzo Machinery Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturer of Constant Velocity Joints and drive shafts, based in Yuhuan, Zhejiang — China's automotive parts manufacturing hub. We carry out R&D, production and sales in house, with CNC machining, assembly and inspection under one roof, and we supply the global automotive aftermarket from annual capacity of 800k+ C.V. joints and 300k+ drive shafts.

Our C.V. Joints range covers inner joints, outer joints, tripod joints and CV boot kits, supported by complete drive shaft assemblies and drive shaft components. Products are exported to Europe, America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, Australia and other regions, and we develop parts against OE numbers, customer samples or drawings.

What We Manufacture in This Product Family

As a Constant Velocity Joints Manufacturers manufacturer, we match product configuration to the application, operating limits, interfaces and acceptance criteria defined for each project.

A constant velocity joint transfers torque from the transmission or transaxle to the wheels at a constant rotational speed while the suspension moves and the wheels steer. Our joints are produced from high-strength alloy steel with precision machining and heat treatment, targeting wear resistance, fatigue strength and torque transmission efficiency across the full steering and suspension range.

The range is organised by position and function rather than by vehicle brand, so an aftermarket programme can be built from a small number of joint families and expanded through part-number coverage. Each family is available as a joint on its own or as part of an assembled shaft, depending on how the customer's catalogue and warehouse operate.

Our C.V. Joint Range and Where Each Type Fits

Product family Position and function Typical application fit
Inner C.V. Joints Transmission side; transmits torque and provides plunge for suspension travel Half shaft repair, inboard joint replacement, tripod and cross-groove designs
Outer C.V. Joints Wheel side; larger deflection angle, carries steering articulation Front wheel drive hubs, ABS-ring versions, extended splined shaft variants
Custom Tripod Joint Parts Replacement Three-point torque transfer inside the inner joint housing High-torque inboard assemblies, load stability, vibration and impact control
CV boot kit Grease and contamination protection for the joint and raceway Service kits, joint replacement programmes, complete shaft assembly

Inner Joints: Plunge and Torque Transfer

The inner joint links the transmission or transaxle to the axle shaft and provides axial plunge as suspension height changes. Our inner joints use tripod or cross-groove raceway geometry to limit friction and hold consistent power delivery under high torque, while damping vibration and reducing operating noise. Representative parts include the 43040-32040 Heavy-duty Impact-resistant Inner C.V. Joint and the 43040-0K010 Low-noise Precision Inner Constant Velocity Joint.

Outer Joints: Steering Angle and Wheel-Side Duty

Outer joints mount at the hub and pass torque to the wheel while absorbing the larger deflection angles created by steering. Because they sit at the wheel end, corrosion resistance, boot sealing and ABS-ring integration matter as much as torque capacity. Examples in production include the 43420-06710 Front Wheel Outer C.V. Joint with ABS Ring and the 43460-69035 Outer C.V. Joint With Extended Splined Shaft.

Materials, Machining and Quality Control

We control the part from raw material to packed carton. Alloy steel grades are selected for the torque and fatigue duty of the joint, then formed and machined on CNC turning, milling and grinding equipment to hold key dimensions, spline geometry and surface finish. Heat treatment develops the hardness and core toughness that keep raceways and rollers stable in service.

  • Incoming material verification before machining
  • CNC turning, milling and grinding of critical dimensions
  • Heat treatment for wear resistance and fatigue strength
  • Assembly control for fitment accuracy and appearance consistency
  • Final inspection of each order before shipment

This sequence is applied to joints, shafts and related metal parts, and it is the basis of the stable performance we commit to aftermarket customers. Where a project requires specific inspection records or acceptance criteria, we agree the inspection points and documentation with the customer before batch production.

Configuration Options and Custom Development

We support development and customisation based on customer samples, drawings or OE numbers. That covers joint type and raceway design, spline count and profile, shaft length and end configuration, ABS-ring fitment, boot and grease specification, and packaging or brand labelling. Where a customer already holds a catalogue, we match the existing part numbering and fitment data rather than forcing a new structure.

Configuration variables we confirm before quoting

  • Joint position: inboard, outboard or tripod
  • Spline count, profile and shaft interface
  • Overall length, plunge range and deflection requirement
  • ABS ring, boot, grease and retaining hardware
  • Supplied as joint only, kit or assembled shaft

From Joint to Complete Shaft

Many aftermarket programmes need the joint and the shaft as one item. We supply Complete Drive Shaft Assemblies with inner and outer joints and boots fitted, as well as Drive Shaft Components for customers who assemble or rebuild in their own facility. This lets a distributor hold one part number for a direct replacement and still buy individual joints for repair demand.

Batch Production, Inventory and Delivery

Scaled production and lean management support flexible scheduling. We manage semi-finished parts, finished components and product categories in batches, which improves order response and long-term supply stability for repeat aftermarket demand. Packaging, labelling and carton configuration are agreed per order, and custom packaging or branding is available on request.

Information We Use to Configure Your Solution

A workable proposal starts from the vehicle or application and the way the part will be sold. The more of the following we receive, the faster we can confirm a matching joint, kit or shaft and prepare the quotation.

  • OE number, interchange number or existing part number
  • Vehicle make, model, year and drive layout
  • Sample, drawing or measured dimensions of the current part
  • Joint position and whether a joint, kit or full shaft is required
  • Spline, length, ABS-ring and boot requirements
  • Annual or first-order quantity and expected repeat pattern
  • Packaging, labelling and branding requirements
  • Destination market and any documentation the order must carry

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a factory or a trading company?

We are a professional manufacturer with in-house production and inspection capabilities, which is what allows us to keep a stable supply for our customers. Machining, assembly and final inspection are handled inside our own operation in Yuhuan, Zhejiang.

Can you develop a C.V. joint from a sample or OE number?

Yes. We support development and customisation based on customer samples, drawings or OE numbers, covering joint type, spline geometry, shaft interface, ABS-ring fitment and boot specification. Sample confirmation is part of the process before batch production.

Do you supply joints on their own or only complete shafts?

Both. Inner joints, outer joints, tripod joints and CV boot kits are supplied individually, and the same joints are also built into complete drive shaft assemblies with boots fitted. Customers rebuilding in their own facility can order components only.

How do you control product quality?

We apply strict quality control from raw materials through machining and assembly to packaging and shipment. Critical dimensions, spline geometry and surface finish are checked during production, and each order is inspected before it leaves the factory.

Can you provide custom packaging or branding?

Yes. We provide packaging solutions, brand labelling and related customisation based on customer requirements, agreed per order alongside the product specification.

Which markets do you export to?

Our products are exported to Europe, America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, Australia and other regions, serving global automotive aftermarket customers.
